IDEM è stata fondata nel 1966. Fin dall’inizio, l’attività; primaria è stata la produzione dei riuniti dentali.
Alta innovazione e qualità, attenta rispondenza ai criteri ergonomici ed una totale affidabilità, sono i cardini di una strategia che ha fatto di IDEM un punto di riferimento nel panorama dei riuniti dentali di tutto il mondo; e questo da 30 anni a questa parte.
IDEM ha da sempre concentrato grandi energie nella progettazione di attrezzature innovative:
Colibri è stato il primo riunito dotato di strumentazione con braccetti a recupero inerte, ed il primo in Europa ad utilizzare la selezione pneumatica degli strumenti;

Skeda presentava il concetto di modularità degli strumenti e così via fino alla produzione attuale
- NEO MAVI : progettato in collaborazione con il famoso designer industriale Bertone costituisce il riunito di prestigio della gamma e si distacca da ogni altro concorrente per l’originalità della sua struttura.
- COLIBRI : ultima versione di un riunito che appartiene alla storia del dentale.
- PENTA : un riunito progettato per sopportare lunghi periodi di lavoro unitamente ad un eccellente confort sia per il paziente che per il dentista e l’assistente.
- ALFA YOUNG: un riunito economico che prosegue la politica di qualità ed affidabilità.
- ALFA NEW: un nuovo riunito con una estetica e dunzionalità del gruppo idrico migliora per proseguire con la politica di qualità ed affidabilità.
- UNITA' DI PROFILASSI (U.P.) : prodotti per l’igiene e la profilassi.
Tutti i prodotti IDEM sono progettati, costruiti e collaudati nel nuovo stabilimento di Gessate (MI).
L’area specifica di produzione IDEM copre 2000 m² mentre altri 500 m² sono destinati ad uffici. La produzione è di oltre 500 unità annue.

IDEM was founded in 1966 and up until now has specialized in the manufacture of dental units with special technical features. Highly innovative design solutions joined to great technological simplicity and working reliability of the dental units are the philosophical principles which have caused IDEM to become an internationally valued and well known brand.

It is always a company towards constant product innovation, from the “mythical” Colibrì of the early 70’s, the 1^st dental unit in the world with compensated balanced arm instrumentation and the 1^st in Europe with pneumatic instrument selection, or the Skeda series featured by completely inter-changeable modules,……. And so on to the current products. The current products are constructed in four lines:

- NEO MAVI : designed in cooperation with world famous italian designer BERTONE, the sole unit of its class without unhygenic umbelical hoses.

- COLIBRI’ : the ultimate version of an established standard in dental unit market.

- PENTA : a wholly new unit, designed to allow both long working sessions and the highiest comfort to patient, as well as to dentist and assistant.

-ALFA : electric or pneumatic unit, very cheap but with all needed performances.

-PROFILAXIS UNITS (U.P.) : family, and its unique “GLOBUS” handpiece, with interchangeable autoclavable, stainless steel nozzle and powder disposal automatic control.

All IDEM products are designed, manifactured and tested by highly skilled manpower and technicians in IDEM factory following the most stringent quality control parctices. The production specific area of IDEM covers 2000 m²and 500 m² for offices. The production is around 500 unit/year.
